Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to oversee inventory levels, manage stock control procedures, and ensure optimal inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking inventory movements, implementing inventory management systems, and collaborating with procurement, warehousing, and sales teams to maintain smooth supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records across all locations
Develop and implement inventory control procedures and policies
Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations
Forecast inventory needs based on sales trends and production schedules
Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure stock availability
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances
Optimize inventory storage and space utilization
Generate inventory reports and analyze stock performance metrics (e.g., turnover, shrinkage)
Implement and oversee inventory management systems or ERP platforms
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards related to inventory
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field
1+ years of experience in inventory control or warehouse/inventory management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with inventory management systems and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
