We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, managing kitchen operations, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and contributing to a positive kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present dishes according to the menu and food standards.
Oversee food preparation, portion control, and plating techniques.
Manage kitchen staff and delegate tasks effectively.
Ensure all meals are prepared in a timely manner and meet quality standards.
Monitor food stock and place orders when necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Innovate and contribute to menu development with seasonal and creative dishes.
Train junior kitchen staff and ensure consistency in preparation.
Control food costs and minimize waste.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff for seamless service.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a professional kitchen.
Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation standards.
Excellent cooking skills and attention to detail.
Leadership and team management abilities.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Creativity and passion for food and hospitality.
Preferred Qualifications:
