Job Description
We are looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-oriented Hotel Receptionist to join our front desk team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests and will play a key role in ensuring a positive guest experience from check-in to check-out.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.
Check guests in and out, manage room bookings, and handle payments.
Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries efficiently.
Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and transportation.
Address and resolve guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
Maintain accurate records of bookings and guest details in the system.
Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest needs are met.
Process reservations and cancellations according to policy.
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and shift reports.
Ensure the front desk and lobby area are clean and presentable at all times.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a front desk or customer service role (hospitality preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in using hotel management software and Microsoft Office.
Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or tourism certification is a plus.
