IT Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic IT Manager to oversee all technology operations and evaluate them according to established goals. The IT Manager will lead a team of IT professionals and ensure the development and implementation of efficient and secure IT systems to meet current and future business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage IT staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising performance.

Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, networks, and security systems.

Ensure data security, network access, and backup systems are up to date and reliable.

Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.

Audit systems and assess their outcomes.

Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery and backup procedures and information security and control structures.

Handle annual budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.

Coordinate IT activities to ensure data availability and network services with minimal downtime.

Stay current with emerging technologies and assess their relevance to the company’s growth.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

2 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.

Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, security, and best practices.

Proven leadership and project management skills.

Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure), networks (LAN, WAN), and data security.

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISSP, Microsoft Certified IT Professional).
