Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Lab Technician to assist in the smooth operation of our laboratory. The ideal candidate will support scientific investigations by preparing samples, conducting tests, recording data, and maintaining lab equipment and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and process samples, solutions, and reagents following standard laboratory procedures.
Conduct tests and experiments under the supervision of scientists or senior technicians.
Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment (e.g., microscopes, centrifuges, spectrometers).
Accurately record and analyze data, ensuring precise documentation of all results.
Maintain inventory of lab supplies and ensure proper storage of chemicals and materials.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
Calibrate and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
Assist in quality control checks and contribute to lab reports and documentation.
Comply with all regulatory and institutional guidelines (e.g., OSHA, GLP, ISO).
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Laboratory Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
1–3 years of experience working in a laboratory setting preferred (internships or academic labs also considered).
Skills:
Knowledge of laboratory techniques and safety procedures.
Familiarity with lab equipment and data recording methods.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic computer proficiency (e.g., MS Excel, lab information systems).
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification as a Medical or Clinical Laboratory Technician (if applicable).
Experience in a regulated lab environment (e.g., pharmaceutical, clinical, or food industry).
Understanding of basic statistical analysis and quality control principles
