Job Description
The Legal Advisor provides expert legal advice and support across the organization to ensure that the company’s operations comply with applicable laws and regulations. This role involves drafting and reviewing contracts, managing legal risks, handling disputes, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal counsel on a wide range of corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
Identify legal risks and recommend preventive strategies.
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Represent the company in legal proceedings, if required, and liaise with external legal counsel.
Handle matters related to employment law, intellectual property, data protection, and corporate governance.
Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may affect the organization.
Conduct legal research and prepare opinions, reports, and briefings for management.
Support internal audits, investigations, and dispute resolution.
Train internal stakeholders on legal and compliance-related topics.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution; LLM is a plus.
Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
Minimum [X] years of experience as a Legal Advisor, In-House Counsel, or in a legal practice.
Strong knowledge of corporate law, commercial law, and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
