Network Administrator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Network Administrator to maintain and support our organization’s computer networks. The ideal candidate will ensure the stability, integrity, and efficiency of network services, including LAN/WAN infrastructure, firewalls, and security systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.

Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective measures.

Manage and support VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and IP address management.

Maintain network security through firewalls, access control, and regular audits.

Ensure high availability and reliability of enterprise network services.

Conduct regular system updates, backups, and disaster recovery testing.

Document network configurations, diagrams, and processes.

Collaborate with IT support and engineering teams to support system integration and troubleshooting.

Assist with planning and implementing network upgrades and expansions.

Stay current with network technologies and recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MTA) are a plus.

Experience:

2–4 years of experience in network administration or a related IT role.

Hands-on experience with enterprise networking equipment (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, HP, Ubiquiti).
