Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead and oversee all housekeeping operations. The role involves managing the housekeeping team, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained across the property, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate housekeeping staff.
Ensure compliance with cleanliness, sanitation, and safety protocols.
Conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Manage inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
Address guest complaints related to housekeeping and resolve them efficiently.
Work closely with front office and maintenance teams to meet guest needs.
Prepare reports on housekeeping performance, staffing, and supply usage.
Implement sustainable and cost-effective cleaning practices.
Enforce company policies and ensure staff compliance with grooming and conduct standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager in a hotel or similar environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Good communication skills; ability to interact professionally with guests and staff.
Familiarity with housekeeping management systems and MS Office.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality management certification is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with luxury or high-volume properties.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Multilingual skills are an advantage.
